Branch Secretary on BBC Radio Sussex

Our Branch Secretary, Dan Sartin, was on BBC Radio Sussex this morning (8th May).

Dan spoke about the schools funding crisis with John Gadd from National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT). This followed the successful ‘Save Our Schools West Sussex’ meeting on Saturday.

You can listen to the interview here (from 1:47:20 to 1:53:20).

There are 56 West Sussex schools making redundancies now or within the next few months, which is a shocking figure. This will have a massive impact on both our members and the education our children receive. Read the full results of our recent survey on the impact of school cuts here.
