The Government is in the process of determining how much funding will be made available for various public services from 2020 onwards. Action for Children, Barnardo’s, The National Citizen’s Bureau, The Children’s Society and the Local Government Association are working together to ensure that this is based on the best evidence about children’s needs.
As part of this, UNISON is polling our social workers about their experience of meeting these needs in the current financial climate, their perceptions of changes in funding and demand, and how these are impacting on their work. The survey results will be aggregated and passed on anonymously to Action for Children who are collecting the survey data on behalf of all the organisations taking part in this poll.
