Summer Branch Lines now published

The latest edition of Branch Lines is now available in both electronic and paper copies. We’ve done our best to distribute paper copies before the start of the school summer holidays to all workplaces where we have members. We want to make sure you are as up to date as possible with the issues we’re tackling before you go on leave.

However, if you’ve not yet seen the printed copy, here’s your chance to read it in full electronically. You can download a copy from our website here:

Branch Lines Summer 2016

bl-fcThis issue contains important information on a wide range of both national and local issues. These include:

  • The union’s response to the EU referendum result
  • The Trade Union Act;
  • The council’s restructure of Residents’ Services;
  • Council pay rates for the next two years; and
  • The Further Education pay campaign latest.

It also provides details of the branch’s summer ‘meet UNISON’ events taking place at the council’s hub offices from 18 July.

If there’s anything in Branch Lines you want to discuss further, or simply want to find out more about the union, please come along to one of our events.

We look forward to seeing you there.
