Affiliated Political Fund payers – vote for Dan Sartin!

Hundreds of thousands of UNISON members choose to pay into the Affiliated Political Fund (APF, or ‘Labour Link’). This means these members have a say in Labour Party elections. The APF is the part of the union which interfaces with the Labour Party and takes UNISON’s agenda to it.

This year there will be an election to the Labour Link National Committee and UNISON West Sussex members who are in the APF will receive a ballot paper.

Voting starts on 9th August when ballot papers will be sent to members. Please look out for it and vote straight away!

The West Sussex Branch Committee is backing its Branch Secretary Dan Sartin for the South East seat. The West Sussex Branch Committee is urging a vote for Dan because:

  1. Dan will be a strong voice for the South East to ensure UNISON defends the transformative policies and leadership of the Labour Party.

  2. Dan is active within his own Constituency Labour Party of Worthing West and regularly campaigned in Brighton Kemptown during the general election where Labour won a target seat with a 10,000 majority.
  3. Dan will be a strong voice for you to ensure UNISON supports and influences a Labour Party which is prepared to go on to transform our country in favour of working people and their families.

  4. Please vote for Dan to make this important difference!
