Labour Link National Committee: our nomination

The Labour Link governs UNISON’s relationship with the Labour Party and promotes UNISON’s policy aims and objectives within the Labour Party. An important election is imminent to elect UNISON members to the Labour Link National Committee which leads on this important work.  UNISON West Sussex members who have opted into the Labour Link have a vote in this election. Ballot papers were issued on Wednesday 7th August and will arrive soon to home addresses.

West Sussex branch has nominated Dan Sartin from our branch for this important position. Dan is our branch secretary and has a track-record of organising the branch well, ensuring members are supported, and speaking up for members. We think Dan is the best candidate.

  • He is not afraid to speak up for you;
  • He understands the importance of a reforming Labour government to UNISON members;
  • He will fight for the resources local Labour parties need.

We encourage our members to vote in this election and to review our branch’s reasons for nominating Dan.
