Members will recollect that WSCC agreed a temporary increase in its mileage rates from 46.9pence per mile to 58.7pence per mile in June, to apply for the period July-September. This was due to the cost of living crisis and increase in petrol prices.
The branch is pleased to report that after reviewing the impact of the rise and current conditions with the UNISON branch, WSCC has agreed to further extend the temporary increase to the end of March 2023.
