Branch Lines – the newsletter for UNISON West Sussex members – is being re-launched this month with a new look.
This first new edition will be a bumper issue, A5-size, with sixteen full-colour pages featuring a wide range of news stories, quotes and features. It will:
- cover the workplace issues important to our members;
- outline the work and news of the branch; and
- promote the advantages of membership for members.
We’re also launching separate editions for our members in specific service groups such as higher and further education and outsourced services. The first of these – hot on the heels of our main newsletter – is a new edition specifically aimed at members in schools and academies.
We hope you will enjoy reading these, and will send us feedback telling us what you’d like to see featured in future editions, but also where we can improve.
Wherever we can, we will send copies to workplaces where we have members. In most places we have reps or contacts who will help distribute copies. However, if you see copies of the newsletters in your workplace, please share them with any current members, or others who you think may be interested in joining us.
The main Branch Lines newsletter and the schools/academies edition will be distributed across the county from 8 December. If you don’t see one before 19 December, please let us know.
