UNISON is recommending that members reject the 1% pay-rise offered each year for the next two years by employers. We believe our members deserve better.
To find out the strength of feeling from members, UNSON is organising an electronic consultative ballot. This is not a formal strike ballot. Feedback from the consultation will tell the union’s national office whether or not a formal ballot for industrial action should take place.
The consultation will also tell us whether or not members are prepared to take any form of industrial action: this could range from full strike action to options such as working-to-rule.

We plan to send out the consultative ballot on Wednesday 3rd February and we need as many members as possible to respond.
