The Branch is conducting a consultative ballot with its members on NJC pay. This affects all members working for West Sussex County Council, including UNISON members in all schools and many academies.
The National Employers’ side has made new proposals for a complex deal which would last for two years until March 2016, replacing its one year offer.
The West Sussex Branch Committee is recommending that members REJECT the proposals.
You should have received your ballot paper by now, alongside:
- a letter from the Branch,
- the details of the proposals and what they would mean for you, and
- a poster for Branch meetings where you can meet with Branch officers to have your questions answered.
Also, the union has now released some Frequently Asked Questions about the proposals.
Please remember to send your vote to the Branch office before the deadline of 12pm on Wednesday 12th November.
