For members on HAY, SMG4 and Agenda for Change grades
As you will know, your annual cost-of-living pay award each year is arrived at after a local process which follows NJC awards.
WSCC previously agreed to a formal UNISON request that it would mirror NJC awards for 2021-22 and 2022-23. WSCC has also agreed that the pay year for HAY staff would align with NJC staff, being applicable from 1st April each year.
At the point of the second NJC 2022-23 award being completed and mirrored for staff on HAY, SMG4 and Agenda for Change grades, the branch wrote again to Becky Shaw, Chief Executive, asking for the formal arrangement to be repeated.
WSCC has since confirmed its intention that the award for staff on HAY, SMG4 and Agenda for Change grades will mirror the NJC award for the pay years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
