UNISON West Sussex is in negotiations with WSCC on the following pay awards which are determined locally:
- Accredited Mental Health Practitioners (AMHPs) Allowance uplift;
- HAY Pay (managers’ pay uplift).

Academies
The branch is also in touch with West Sussex academies to ensure that the NJC pay award 2018-20 will be implemented. Academies which use WSCC payroll services (administered by Capita) are on track to implement the award in May’s pay packet – alongside WSCC schools and WSCC staff. We are unclear on where several academies which use other payroll arrangements stand on the matter and are chasing this up as a matter of urgency, with regional and national office support.
