Following Saturday’s march in protest against funding cuts to West Sussex schools, parent-led campaign group ‘Save our Schools West Sussex’ has called a public meeting in Worthing on Saturday 6th May.
Featuring a range of key speakers, all are welcome to attend the meeting, with activities/entertainment and refreshments provided for children. The group are calling for support in moving the campaign forward and making their voices heard:
We believe every child deserves a good, well-rounded education as a basic human right. Schools are facing devastating cut to budgets already stretched to breaking point. These include reducing staffing levels, increasing class sizes, and profound reductions to children’s pastoral and mental health services. We are saying enough is enough! If you feel the same, come join us!
When: Saturday 6th May 2017, 2-4pm
Where: The Assembly Hall, Stoke Abbot Road, Worthing
